ABS--Expansion for the Future
We’re in the business of selling genetics which, by their very nature, are the future and are also a global commodity. ABS has made considerable investments in additional facilities but has also expanded its Sorted Semen capabilities four fold in the past 18 months.
Helping current customers become more efficient and profitable has always been a part of ABS’ behavior, however, we are also actively involved in developing trade opportunities in emerging markets in Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe.
More than just semen ABS Global offers a comprehensive package of product, education and technical services unsurpassed by any other bovine genetics company. Through aggressive physical and market growth ABS has every intention of maintaining its position of “The World Leader in Bovine Genetics”.
Our business is growing, and so are our facilities. ABS is committed to bringing you the highest level of genetics.
In order to continue to do so has purchased 240 acres located 15 miles north of ABS Global headquarters in DeForest, Wisc in July 2007. Over the next four years, four barns will be built on the property to house a total of 350 additional dairy and beef sires.
The New Facilities:
• Three barns will be constructed housing 80 bulls each
• Located on the other side of the property, the fourth barn will be a European Union Qualified barn housing 50-60 bulls and will also contain a collection ring
