We have a professional team of scanning technicians that have many years experience of handling cows. Each year, they each scan over 11,500 cows, identifying developing calves and cows that need to be put back to the inseminator. With the latest ultrasound technology we are able to accurately confirm pregnancy at the earliest opportunity.

• Pregnancy can be confirmed from 42 days after service and is 98% accurate. The accurate and early confirmation of pregnancy in both beef and dairy herds is essential to ensure a high level of reproductive efficiency.

 

• Save time and feed costs by employing professionally trained dairy cow scanning technicians. Effective pregnancy confirmation results in:
  - fewer lost breeding days
  - tighter calving pattern
  - lower culling percentage

 

• Foetal age can be estimated allowing calving dates to be calculated. This is of particular benefit in suckler herds or where natural service has been used.
