JOHNSON NAMED SALES AND SERVICE INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – June 24, 2008 - ABS has named Michael Johnson an Upper Midwest Sales and Service Intern for the 2008 summer. “Mike possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the dairy industry,” stated Todd Kronberg, ABS Upper Midwest Divisional Manager. “He will be a great addition to the Sales and Service team.” Johnson will be a senior this fall at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) majoring in Agriculture Business with a dairy emphasis. On campus, Johnson is active in the Dairy Club and the Agriculture Business and Management Club. Before attending UWRF, Johnson attended Western Technical College earning an Associate Degree in Agri-Business and Science Technology. He maintained a high level of academics as he made the President’s List all four semesters while earning his Associate Degree. In addition, Johnson has work experience within the dairy industry. At Trailside Holsteins, he is an Assistant Herdsman and is responsible for ration balancing, herd health and the field work. He has worked with the herd since 1999. As a Sales and Service intern, Johnson will provide sales and service support and perform market surveys in the Upper Midwest. Johnson will also be assisting the Divisional and District Sales Managers throughout the summer.
