RIPP NAMED GENETIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM® INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – June 24, 2008 - ABS Global has named Rochelle Ripp as the Genetic Management System (GMS®) Intern for the 2008 summer. “Rochelle’s strong communication skills, creativity, education and background make her an asset to the GMS team,” stated GMS Supervisor Jenny Sweatt. “We are very excited to have Rochelle join and assist our team for the summer.” Ripp is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville majoring in Agribusiness with a communications and marketing emphasis. She is a member of the UW-Platteville Women’s Varsity Volleyball team, National Agriculture Marketing Association and the UW-Platteville Student Ambassador Corps. Ripp is from Lodi, Wisconsin, where she grew up and worked on the family farm, Ripp Farms, LLC. Her responsibilities included bookkeeping, animal health care and fieldwork. As the GMS Intern, Ripp will work with the GMS team to develop new GMS modules for the ABS Global University training site to enhance Representative and Employee education opportunities. She will also assist with updating GMS field pieces, promotional pieces and the website.
