ABS CONTRIBUTES TO BREAKFAST ON THE FARMDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – June 30, 2008 - ABS Global is a world class people organization working for the betterment of the food industry. In an effort to help people learn about the dairy aspect of the food industry, ABS Global helped sponsor the 30th Annual Dane County Breakfast on the Farm Saturday, June 14, 2008. ABS provided shirts for host family and several ABS employees volunteered at the event hosted by Al and Michelle Kalscheuer on Kalscheuer’s Dairy Farm. “We were proud to support such a successful event,” stated Genetic Management System® (GMS®) Manager, Amy Knuth. “There was a great turn out for this year’s Breakfast on the Farm.” Kalscheuer’s Dairy Farm is a fourth generation farm located in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Over the past 85 years, the farm has seen many different species of livestock, but today it is home to only dairy. The farm milks 85 Holstein cows and raises young stock. Each year a different dairy farm in Dane county hosts the event and conducts educational farm tours. The breakfast is always held in conjunction with National Dairy month in June.
