What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly-skilled Content and Social Media Specialist / Copywriter with digital marketing knowledge to join our global team. This role will support our Brand and Content Lead in creating and refining copy for social, websites, blogs, and other brand touchpoints. This role will be responsible for engaging the audience with the adequate voice throughout the customer journey ensuring the best customer experience and exceptional content relevance.

This role will also write copy designed to convey valuable information about the company brand, industry or key profile – internally and externally.  Additionally, as part of the Nucleus you will be responsible for specific projects where you will need to work closely and homogenously with other members on the nucleus, we encourage agile behavior within the global organization.

Work Location

We are flexible with the work location of this position, however, the successful candidate must be open to relocating to DeForest, WI where our headquarters is located.

Overview of Responsibilities and Focus Areas

  • Develop and maintain exceptional content to support the many different solutions ABS offers, while driving an exceptional customer journey.
  • Create engaging and entertaining visual content blending video, photo, and effects to increase engagement and growth
  • Serve as the social media in house expert, providing direction, education and insight to the company on which channels to use based on the preferable outcome.
  • Monitor comments and posts daily on social media channels, engaging audiences through a wide range of social media activities and location-based marketing applications primarily Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts
  • Analyze data and analytics to continue to improve and optimize content, and measure and report the performance of digital content against KPIs
  • Monitor social media conversation to create monthly reports that show growth, and engagement levels.
  • Stay abreast to mainstream and niche industry trends and monitor competitive landscape to proactively help navigate the team through to become a leader in content marketing
  • Leverage your exceptional copywrite skills when called upon to bring to life key internal or external communication
  • Estimated 35% travel, if working remote estimated 50% travel.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong, professional written, and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience developing, producing, and executing exceptional digital content and campaigns for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Strong understanding and execution working with social media platforms, and tools for creating and distributing content on social media, and analyzing success/failure
  • Advanced skills and success writing in different voices and tonalities based on the client and audience
  • Highly skilled and successful experience incorporating brand values, voice, and tone into copywriting so that it is consistent across all mediums
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and success working closely with teams to understand content creation needs and writing conversion-driven copies for campaigns, product launches, newsletters, nurture streams, and more
  • Comfortable and thrives with frequent iteration and change
  • Self-starter, high-performing team player adept at developing and shaping digital product strategies
  • Skilled at interfacing with remote team to coordinate with designers and account managers
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and success working closely with teams to understand content creation needs and writing conversion-driven copies for campaigns, product launches, newsletters, nurture streams, and more
  • Proactive, creative and innovative thinker. Must be able to generate consistently new ideas to attract high-quality leads.
  • Data-driven, proficient in using tech tools to optimize your work
  • Excited and motivated about working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong Plus

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects
  • Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)
  • Experience managing social/content creation for a B2B Agricultural brand
  • Experience collaborating with designers and developers, Nucleus principle
