Customer Service Administrator

Genus ABS are looking to grow the Customer Services team to maintain to delivery of exceptional customer service to customers and colleagues. You will be joining a team of welcoming and passionate group of colleagues working remotely and in the office to respond to the needs of Genus ABS sales and service delivery. This is an additional role within the team available on a temporary, fixed-term basis to the high demand we are experiencing within Great Britain.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Administrator:

  • Take ownership in the handling, recording, and investigating customer feedback and enquiries through to the end through verbal and written communications to resolve matters
  • Take responsibility for your own sales territory area and complete monthly tasks to the deadline. Liaise closely with colleagues, managers, and directors within your territory of responsibility
  • Assist and support field sales and support colleagues with tablet device technology, providing vital information to customers from the Oracle system over the telephone
  • Liaise closely with departments including Customer Accounts, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain and Distribution

This role is predominantly inbound call based, you will spend approximately 70% of your day receiving and handling enquiries from colleagues and 30% from customers.

Contract length: 12 months

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

COVID-19 considerations:
Remote interviewing and remote working available during COVID-19 pandemic. This role will return to the office environment when safe to do so (date to be confirmed)


  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Oracle and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365: 1 year (preferred)

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and policies
  • Collect and report customer feedback to ensure that best practice is recognised and maintained
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company’s customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested
