Key Account Manager – South England

Genus ABS is recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join the South East team reporting to Andrew King on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role of Key Account Manager is to promote and sell the portfolio of Genus ABS products and service solutions directly to new and existing customer farms. You will introduce product and service solutions and pricing, create and monitor lead generation plans and work as a team to fulfil customer goals and profit targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing accounts into long-term and profitable relationships through a robust sales and discovery process
    • Support the development of strategic customer initiatives to fulfil customer goals and deliver profit targets
    • Interact and influence at the highest management levels of the customer farms
    • Negotiate, maintain, and renew customer contracts.
  • Act as the customer’s representative and primary customer contact to Genus ABS. Coordinate with colleagues to increase the customer experience
  • Create and grow meaningful relationships across the industry to increase the revenue of Genus ABS and customer farms

Requirements

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Full driving licence and the ability to travel and visit your customer farms within the South East
  • Proven sales experience with exposure to sales plans, forecasts and profit and loss accounts
  • Recent dairy farming/industry experience
