Warehouse Administrator/Operative – Towcester

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Warehousing Team at Towcester within a newly created Hybrid Role.

The successful post holder will undertake a mixture of Administrative duties (80% of their working week) and Warehouse duties (20% of the working week).

Administration Core Duties (80% of working week):

  • Administration for the site – everyday operational process requirements on Microsoft D365, administration of site-specific Purchase orders, uploading audits and supplementary operational administration
  • Create Packing lists in D365
  • Be a point of contact on-site for third-party suppliers and order Administration
  • Supporting the Site Manager with operational dashboard collation
  • Managing the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests
  • Managing company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters and packages
  • Organising meetings, scheduling appointments and overseeing catering during company events
  • Designing office workflow, assessing staff and providing feedback to improve internal performance 
  • Performing data entry roles, including updating records and databases
  • Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment, to ensure smooth office operations

Warehouse Core Duties (20% of working week): 

  • Picking
  • Packing
  • Goods-in
  • Goods-out and dispatch
  • Stocktaking 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide day-to-day Administration duties to a small team

Warehouse Roles Job Context and Dimensions:

  • To accurately put away, pick and pack liquid nitrogen stored genetic assets for Export to EU and Non-EU countries to customer country packing requirements on time
  • To accurately put away, pick and pack liquid nitrogen stored genetic assets for company sites in the UK against a strict distribution deadline

Requirements

  • Proven Administrative experience 
  • Someone who is methodical and has an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Collaborative working between departments
  • The ability to manage time appropriately
