Cheri Johnson Joins ABS as Global Communications Manager

Cheri Johnson has joined ABS Global, Inc., the world leader in bovine genetics, reproduction services and technologies, as the Global Communications Manager. In this role, she will support the continued growth of the organization by strategically developing and implementing global marketing and communications plans and tactics that tell the ABS Global story.

Johnson has written professionally for more than 20 years and agriculture is her passion. She started her career as a newspaper journalist, and then moved into corporate public relations. Before joining ABS, Johnson worked for several advertising and public relations agencies in Minneapolis. She also worked as the U.S. Grains Council communications director, where she dealt with a wide variety of international trade and production issues on a daily basis for the Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization.

Johnson earned a Master of Arts in strategic communications management from Concordia University, St. Paul, Minn. She received her Bachelor of Arts in journalism, with an emphasis on public relations, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Johnson is a member of the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) and former president of the North Central NAMA chapter.
