605 Sires + Donors, one of the fastest-growing beef reproductive facilities in the country, and ABS Global, a world-renowned leader in bovine genetics, recently announced a strategic partnership aimed at leveraging their combined expertise to drive innovation and expand access to cutting-edge genetic solutions for beef producers nationwide.
605 Sires + Donors is based in Marion, South Dakota and provides comprehensive beef donor services including donor haul-in, donor boarding, and recipient/embryo transfer services. As a result of the collaboration with ABS, 605 Sires + Donors is building a brand-new bovine IVF facility on-site which will be operational by June 2024; it will be the first operation using ABS technology in the upper Midwest that will be dedicated to beef-only embryo production. This new building will allow 605 Sires + Donors to offer reverse sorting for the first time.
